PopCap Announces Bookworm Adventures 2
PopCap continues to bargain forbidden the casual gaming crack next calendar month with Pedant Adventures 2, the continuation to their popular Book-game-meets-RPG.
Not happy with their already well-entrenched monopoly on your productiveness and spare time, PopCap today announced that they'll be releasing another potential drop addiction in the form of Bookworm Adventures 2, the sequel to their eminent Boggle-meets-RPG lite star a iv-blue-eyed (in the metaphorical mother wit) worm named Lex who tracks through literary fantasy worlds doing turn-supported battle with enemies by, uh, orgasm up with words.
"Scholastic Adventures Volume 2 exceeds its predecessor both in wordy fun and whacky puns," said Tysen Henderson of PopCap. For the sequel PopCap is adding three new worlds with ten chapters each, a ne'er-termination Replay mode for the folks who never want their word slanging action to end, new minigames, items, writing figures who leave assist Lex in battle, achievements and more. The new areas are based on fairy tales, "astounding planets" and "The Monkey King," which I'm guessing refers to darling Chinese fable Journey to the West.
If you've never given Pedant Adventures a shot, PopCap has a demonstration risen for the first gimpy.
